"BLOG BURST":
"I've been reminded this week of how much we don’t know and how much we have to learn. Every real artist is struggling with all kinds of challenges and things rolling around in their minds. Most of the time with either abstract or realism it doesn’t matter; the artist isn’t just slapping paint. When you look at paintings, you should look deep, concentrate, feel it, ponder the message and let them speak to you!!"

Thought I’d post this up showing you the ocean, not the sod.
Reminded of the subtle beauty and awesome power shown.
Thankful for all things reminded not to groan.
Letting the winds and waves remind us of all He has made.

"BLOG BURST":
"In the United States we suffer from the “stuff” syndrome. What’s that you ask? Life is so full of stuff we forget and just don’t have time. Great paintings seem to have arms. Just when you think you’re rushing, you catch a glimpse as the painting seemingly grabs you on your way by. For that brief moment you stop, look, remember and then go. Somewhere in the day that sweet savory remembrance drifts back into your head and the briefest of smiles adorns your face. Let this be a reminder that we need to stop and ponder those things that are important to us more often."

Today's The Day

Wow....finally it's almost finished, but I wanted so much to share it with you!

Here's My First "BLOG BURST":
"It's truly difficult to create great paintings. We continue to attempt and pursue that with all our God given abilities. Paintings can strike you, bucket your knees or grow on you. You can also hate them. It's sort of like a relationship. Unlike a relationship, they truly do keep on giving for a lifetime. When you can find one that you "click with"; GO for it! The relationship will only get better."
