BLOG BURST:
" Ready, Set …. Go! Congratulate yourself, you made it through Christmas. However, if that’s how you feel, you probably missed the whole point. Hopefully you were at home, or with those you care for or connected with those that care for you.

It always seems like the buildup is so great and the time is but a flash. Just maybe and I hope it was for you, the memories and the positives far outweigh any negative. The blitz is still on as exchanges, fighting traffic, people and of course those after Christmas sales beckon one like a nail to a magnet.

Don’t forget it’s the next door that may or may not make a huge difference in your outcome. Please, please, please just stop for some precious and rewarding moments of reflection and decision making. A lot of consequences of life happen when we are so caught up in crammed circumstances, situations, pressures, and momentary feel good, happy, happy times. These however may be masking devastating results based on your choices. Ask yourself, what are the long term results of my actions? Will this decision be true, will it be right? What will the outside factors offer and how could they jeopardize my future? Who could I talk with that would provide me with the proper insight. Where have they come from and why would I want information so important to me from them? Can I walk away? As much as it is going to affect me now, will I be better off not dealing with the hand writing on the wall?

I’m thankful paintings don’t mislead you or throw you away. I am thankful they get better with time and add positives to your life and health as opposed to tearing you down and you feel like you’ve got the plague. Even with paintings, time and the right decision will offer you long term rewards.

Don’t let the Blur, the Blitz and the Business overwhelm you, spend some quality time, get some quality advice, and pray for the help you need to make the right choices."

POETIC PONTIFICATION:
“Two weeks this time of year are furious and fast
There is much to do and decisions that can’t pass
Choices to be made that will have lasting affects
Hard decisions and often some you should reject
So spend the time and get the right advice and wait
Sometimes not deciding at all is never too late.”

“Let me take the time to thank you for this year, for your support, for your friendship, and for your patronage. Have a Happy New Year!”

Dec 20TH Just Once In Human History!

BLOG BURST:
" Last Sunday morning I had the unique privilege to hear one of the very best Christmas messages I’ve heard. The title “Why God Became Man” is a theme that I am very familiar with and clearly understand, however the opening was quite different being confronted with the fact that this special date was not about some jolly guy with a white beard and red suit, little elves in green suits, or some dancing and prancing reindeers. It’s about God’s miraculous act of grace to bring about reconciliation between Himself and His creations, the human race.

As our meaningless treadmill lives spin the toil of self absorption and self satisfaction, once in human history the Creator of the universe came into our world to again have a relationship with you and me.

What words can do this justice? What commentary can make one see the real truth and the real scope of what it cost Him to offer you life anew and everlasting? What painting can truly depict the events that happened over some 33 years that provides us a means to eternity with Almighty God?

Here’s the message should you choose to listen to it. Dr. John-Paul Lotz, Pastor of Christ Chapel, Centerville, Massachusetts, December 13, 2009 “Why God Became Man”.
"

POETIC PONTIFICATION:
“Thank you, for the ability, talent and all the blessings.
Times I’ve wandered, You’ve forgiven me for messing
You’ve allowed me to see and look beyond normal view
Provided me the way to walk and taken me through
May Your light shine that men and women will come to see
Your merciful love and the relationship You want to be!”

“Have a great “Christmas Week”!”

Dec.13th Sometimes Artists Say Pointed Things!

BLOG BURST:
"Happy Holidays”! I’m sorry, no I’m not. “Merry Christmas and Happy Hanukkah”! Many artists are looked at as pushing the envelope, being agents for rebellion and change. Most don’t like “you can’t do that”, that’s not possible”, and “no”. Sometimes artists stand up and say things that are against the popular politically correct cultural language of the day.

In that day when morals, marriage, God and country are all on the chopping block for the fever over social tolerance, it is time to say, “Christmas is Christmas”. It has been and believe me, should be an accepted norm without question in a country that was founded on Judeo Christian ethics.

This day, “Christmas” is as you probably know the celebration of running to the local store for anything that would satisfy the lovely little ones or create good will toward one in which we have a relationship. I’m sorry but this is not the reason for the day. Over 2,000 years ago in a small part of the world, in a predetermined predicted village was born the Son of God. His reason was to come to earth live a sinless life and offer Himself as a living sacrifice for a broken relationship that demanded reconciliation.

You may choose to believe this or not, but what you should understand is that is what our forefathers our ancestors and our government established as a holiday, “Christmas”.

Should you choose to participate with the correct understanding or not paintings are an exceptional choice for the giving of gifts. Better still is the finding of an artist that you appreciate and the introduction with a gift certificate or some arrangement that the receiver of your gift would for themselves be given the opportunity to select a painting of their choosing. People need to connect with paintings more than they need wall decorators.

Oh, “Merry Christmas”!"

POETIC PONTIFICATION:
“Not sure of the day created that we celebrate in a special way?
Let me tell you it is Christmas not just some holiday!
Yes, we give gifts and give thanks and honor family and friends.
But Christmas is important because He gave us life without end.
Give beautiful paintings that are real and not some kind of ploy,
Because paintings breathe life each day and give such joy!”

“The countdown for Christmas has begun and Hanukkah is here. May you and yours have a wonderful experience as you celebrate the truth.”

BLOG BURST:
"More lights, more competition with the neighbor, more for the children, more debt, more parties, more needs and more about me, It’s what the season is about. NOT!

Time was that a family and this particular time of year meant something far beyond some superficial gift, over indulgent gathering and checking the feelings meter hourly. Time was that families, not broken homes, gathered as one and had a level of appreciation for each other beyond our now self absorbed society. Time was that there was communication and love rather than the sheep like following of the “what’s popular in relationships”.

We’re missing the mark, following the god of this world and making decisions based on self satisfaction. We’ve stopped looking, stopped understanding, and stopped connecting. We’ve forgotten or just think we don’t have the time to let our eyes connect with our souls. We’ve substituted the right relationships and ordered function of soul and spirit and we’ve replaced it all with the throne that’s set up for only us.

Come back and look clearly. Come back and listen intently. Come back and get your heart right. Come back to life. Enjoy the season as never before. Re-establish those connections broken and those relationships thrown away. Find the connection of your eyes to your soul."

POETIC PONTIFICATION:
“Time was yesterday and yesterday there was time.
Forgotten dreams and aspirations, now glimpses in the mind,
Once joined for together in the struggle of human space,
Now all substitutions, other stuff taking that sacred place.
The paintings remind me of needs and wants and desires.
And my soul stirs uneasy as I gaze into its daunting fire.”

“If you find yourself in this season wandering the memories and choices you’ve made seek out great paintings that will positively help you, connect and engage you and become part of your every day experience. Have a great week!”
