Mar.25th “Wanting To Know”
“Cezanne’s Apples”
BLOG BURST:
"It’s said of Paul Cezanne that he studied apples endlessly. He wanted to truly know his subject matter spending much of his preliminary time engaging himself into every aspect of apples. Even when he painted, he would think over the colors, shapes, sizes, shading, reflection to the point that often his subject would actually rot before he would finish his work.
Do we spend time truly wanting to know someone? Is today’s society so self oriented that we’ve totally forgotten to put others before our wants and our needs? Are we so caught up in the world or our own myopic view that we would rather throw people and relationships away rather than find peace, solutions, or God’s answers? Do we think that Christ’s call on our lives has changed? Are we looking more at our self satisfaction rather than doing His will.
We’re a sick society that has ushered God out of our culture and we don’t even see the price we are just starting to pay for our disobedience and selfishness. Will we get back more than we bargained for? The wrath cometh and it won’t just pass by!"
POETIC PONTIFICATION:
“Lord, help us to see the wonders of Your hand each and every day
Help us to seek You first; forgive us for what we do and what we say
Keep us from the world and believing all the lies that we are told
Help us to see the fallacies and falsehood; help us to be more bold
Stay close and guide us, help us be in the very center of Your will
Ever reading Your Word, following Your commands, and Spirit filled!”
“Painters often are misunderstood and maligned, but true recognition does not come from the world. Have a great week!”

Mar.18th “How Many Gifts”
“TheJudgment”
BLOG BURST:
"Time rests and time stops for no man. The pace of the human experience in our hemisphere is often overwhelming and the separation between “the haves” and “the have nots” widens each and every day. The care we once had for others and servant hood has almost disappeared out of our society. This all goes on as the recognition of John Wayne and little Wayne blurs and widens the generation gaps.
We are a society who can’t catch its breath and who has forgotten structure and discipline while replacing it with pats on the forehead. That’s great, that’s awesome, you’re amazing, you’re wonderful all of which comes with empty meaning to those who understand the reality of our times along with what we are doing and have done to our kids.
We don’t take the time, nor recognize how much God has given us, how He has given each individual talents and how He takes care of His children, those who have a personal relationship with Him. We don’t praise or honor His Words or His desires. We take His name in vain and treat Him like He’s some old likeable grandfather with nothing to do.
Please, please, please wake up! “It is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment.” (Hebrew 9:7) Judgment is at the door and knocking. He came to give you life!"
POETIC PONTIFICATION:
“You’ve given all of us a chance and made a way to be redeemed
Help us see the Light, help us to truly understand what you mean
We are and have nothing, except eternal torment without You
Lord, You deserve all praise, all honor and all glory for all You do
God help us recognize just how much You’ve given and You care
God let us see, let us look; Oh, God help us to become aware!”
“Artists paint and pour their talents into their work. Recognize you have talents and give thanks to Him who gave them to you. Have a great week!!”

Mar.11th “Never Seeing It Till”
“Where’sTimeLeadingYou?”
BLOG BURST:
"Spring is in the air and baseball, yes baseball, is less than a month away. Just like in many paintings little things creep up upon you and you don’t even see them. If you aren’t careful of the fundamentals and reviewing and reviewing and reviewing, something isn’t going to come out right. Sometimes you even need to go on the bench, be sent to the minors or just put that painting aside.
We live in a world driven by the evil one and everyday in every way, he thwarts those that are followers of Christ. He keeps his minions in check and lays out the hunger for pride, money, self, fame, more stuff, and more anything that can take you away from finding the truth. He is a liar and he hasn’t changed. Every day Christians fall and millions upon millions of Christians and non-Christians believe his lies.
As the things of life come to you, take time to put the paintings as well as everything else on the shelf and study what is happening, why and who told you. Your sisters, your brothers, who don’t have a relationship with Christ as well as all who follow the evil one and the ways of the world, can be guiding you away from the right choices as well as your relationship to God, Almighty, the Creator of the Universe. You won’t even see it coming."
POETIC PONTIFICATION:
“More stuff in the garage, more money in the account
The true important things, who needs to truly count
The days go by and time travels always changing courts
Soon you’ll be standing in front of God giving a report
What will you say about what you taught your offspring
What will you say about the choices your life brings
What kind of relationship with God do you now contain
Is it time to make the changes He wants and avoid the pain?”
“Paintings foster thoughts and stimulate our emotions. Often we need to ponder what’s going on in our life and not miss what really is going on. Have a good week!”

Mar.4th “God the Same Yesterday, Today, & Tomorrow”
“AreYouInHisHands”
BLOG BURST:
"Here we are in March. I’m presently finishing up a series which has been a ride and I’m trusting I will announce an exhibition soon. I’ve got to work on the details, details and more details while oiling and varnishing commence.
Artists have constant changes in what’s going on in their lives. People, places, and things as well as circumstances interruption, information all move artists to have and integrate subtle to drastic modifications in their works as well as their lives.
All of us are affected in the same way as life and love is full of changes. Some changes we orchestrate. Some changes we are victimized by and others come because the roller coaster of life is made of changes. Sometimes God has changes for us because of His purposes.
Our own personal choices play a huge roll in many of the changes we make. We see, we envision, we draw, we paint, we throw away, and we forget. We choose many of the things we are not even aware of and when we are, we often choose against what the Lord would have us do..
God, never changes! The Bible say God is the same yesterday, today and forever. What a great foundation to have as our rock knowing that He is not affected by any of our nonsense or the nonsense around us. Senior Pastor of Gateway Church, Robert Morris is preaching a series on “The End … what Happens next?” This series is so informative I recommend and challenge you to go to their website: ”http://theblessedlife.com“; and hear what the Scriptures have to say. You will truly be blessed as well as informed about the real truth."
POETIC PONTIFICATION:
“Life opens each new day with a world of things to do and say
We rush with plans and purposes that may not come our way
Often don’t consider what we’ve promised or whose we are
Narrow focused and tempered by many of life’s hurting scars
But Christ is always there, He is our comfort and our guide
He will lead us home to our Eternal rest always by our side!”
“Artists’ paintings influence our thinking and our perspective. They can give us new insight, but God is the One that is in control of all things. Have a great week!”
