June 24nd “The Plans of Mice And Men”
“Broken Dreams Broken Vows”
BLOG BURST
“Life’s curse of toils and struggles are seen in every human being. People are always looking for the easier way, or the ways they think are right. People say one thing and do another. People look at other people think in their hearts and often say unacceptable things. In Ezekiel 14:2 God says. “These men have set up idols in their hearts and put wicked stumbling blocks before their faces.” Truth is God knows our hearts, our thoughts, and our actions. Nothing is hidden from Him.
So often we don’t do the right thing or make the right choices. We operate on our feelings or our own self importance, what’s in it for me. Our pride gets in the way of seeing things clearly and we can’t or won’t ask God what we should do or what choices we should make. Knowing that we might have to suffer or others may see us in an unfavorable light often drives us to the wrong path. This then complicates things and compromises our position with God as we become disobedient to His will and His authority. We sin and break our relationship with Him!
Our human relationships struggle because of this, as well as not fully understanding Ephesians 6:12 “For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.”
We find ourselves on the doorsteps of new opportunities and new ventures which promise us new life, new security, happier times without any thought of how or why we are there. Soon, and very soon, after walking through the door we find that what we really have is more than we ever dreamed or expected in the way we had envisioned it. Welcome to your new life.
There is faith. There is hope. There is love. The greatest of these is LOVE!”
POETIC PONTIFICATION
“No guilt, no manipulation or complication you may think you know
No clear understanding of His will and the testimony that was to show
No thoughts of His glory or the promises you broke along the way
Living in the moment, driven by feelings, money the answer for each day
But, keep clear contemplation let it permeate your very mind and heart
John 15:6 will come with truth and play out its woe some part!”
“Remember who’s you are and for what purpose you were created. Isaiah 43:1; 1 Corinthians 8:6; 1 Peter 4:2 Have a great week!”

John 15:6 “If you do not remain in me, you are like a branch that is thrown away and withers;
such branches are picked up, thrown into the fire and burned.”
Ezekiel 16:8 “I gave you my solemn oath and entered into a covenant with you, declares the
Sovereign LORD, and you became mine.”
Isaiah 43:1 “But now, this is what the LORD says—he who created you, Jacob, he who formed
you, Israel: Do not fear, for I have redeemed you; I have summoned you by name; you are
mine.”
1 Corinthians 8:6 “..yet for us there is but one God, the Father, from whom all things came
and for whom we live; and there is but one Lord, Jesus Christ, through whom all things came
and through whom we live.”
1 Peter 4:2 “As a result, they do not live the rest of their earthly lives for evil human desires,
but rather for the will of God.”

June 17th “Father’s Day… For one and for all fathers have a great day!”
“God Reaches Out To All Fathers, To All Men”
BLOG BURST
“This past week I listened to a message form Robert Morris of the Blessed Life and Gateway Church. He mentioned that after Adam had sinned and was confronted by God ( Genesis ) Adam said he was afraid. This obviously broke God’s heart as He had done absolutely nothing to cause this reaction. It was only Adam’s sin. As he continued in his sermon what caught my attention was his comments from Scripture where he referenced that there are only two fathers…your Father God or your father Satan. God is the Father of all truth and Satan is the Father of lies. He asked whom you serve. He also talked about being loved and why God should love him. In his mind God had no reason, no reason at all, and yet when God spoke to him personally, He said, “Because you are mine!”
Today where divorce in the “Christian” community runs over 50 percent there are many who have divorced themselves from God’s teaching, His will, and their obedience to His Word. Many have thrown away those that are and were belonging to them. Never a thought, never an issue of how or what their spouse was entitled to or why they loved them. If God is and He is the God of miracles why not allow Him to reconcile the love that brought both parties together, rather than break the covenant and the family that God so desires apart?
We heard the anger loud and clear and the pride that overwhelms, but where is the humility and forgiveness that each Christian knows and understands if they have truly in fact given themselves over to the Lord of Lord, the King of Kings, and their heavenly Father, the Father of truth?
There is faith. There is hope. There is love. The greatest of these is LOVE. Happy Father’s Day”

June 10th “Deciding To Follow Or Not”
“Creation of Man by Michelangelo”
BLOG BURST
“Michelangelo was convinced and convicted that his work on the Sistine Chapel and Pope Julius II’s tomb were affected by his belief and his choices which went against the will of the Catholic Church and the family of the Pope.
Matthew 6:24
"No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon"
“If a Christian isn’t willing to give up everything to follow Jesus, you may as well say that person isn’t following Jesus. That is serving the other master, and as Jesus says, you can’t serve both.”
K.W. Lesile’s translation and commentary
We sing I have decided to follow Jesus. Have you? What have you done with your decision? What is the outcome of the choices you have made? Is the outcome a direct result of a life of surrender to the choices Jesus has put before you and you have surrendered to them? Or, is the outcome a product of the influences on your own Christianity? Faced with the challenge of asking and seeing what your choices should be during trial and testing, have you chosen to forsake what you know is true for a choice of what you think will be true?
What has your contribution been to your husband or your wife (because they are first after Jesus), your children, your parents, and your siblings as well as the others God has brought to you? Where and what will be the outcome? The results of choices you have made may take years to bear themselves out as wrong choices. Will the Judge who sees your heart, hear your cry and answer? Will you be willing to forsake all that you think you have built, when deep within the questions you ask in your own heart, you know it’s not the truth? If it is not right before Him will you ask forgiveness and give up everything to follow Jesus?
There is faith. There is hope. There is love. The greatest of these is LOVE!”
POETIC PONTIFICAION
"What about you will you pass on what you know is right
Will you accept some worldly paper that allowed you flight
Will you pass off the commands and instructions He has given to you
Are you going about life believing your new dreams will come true
Oh, Christian get on your knees, heed Scripture and pray today
Ask Him to forgive, listen quietly and closely to what He has to say!"
"Michelangelo’s work is truly remarkable but what he said through it will stand the test of time. What will your works and deeds say about your choices? Have a great week!"

June 3rd “Really, Not Really”
“One Nation Under God – Douglas Auld”
BLOG BURST
“I painted this painting at the same time I painted the painting I used for Memorial Day tribute. The title today is truly misleading. Our nation for the most part has forgotten how and what God has given us. We are a nation of tolerance and no one questions what that is really doing to the fiber and foundation of our great land. Once, children were disciplined, today we have states taking away the rights of parents to discipline their own children. Once, we would question divorce, now it’s a matter of how fast can one get out of vows and sacred assurances and promises for re-marriage. Once, we wouldn’t “tolerate’ our children living with someone, now after saying we’re upset, we go do it ourselves. Once, it was horrible to commit adultery, now we do what we want when we want, have no conscious, and justify it anyway we like. On and on it goes throwing God and His Word out the window and further worshiping the “god of self”. And this, this is from His people; forget those who are of the world.
The Bible says, “If My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land. II Chronicles 7:14 His people are not of this Kingdom and they are to live in the world, but not be of the world. Most Christian’s don’t even realize they were called, wouldn’t humble themselves and aren’t sure why or even to whom they pray. What’s wrong with that picture?
Please wake up to the truth, God has chosen you to follow His instructions, His direction, have His security and to live and bring glory to Him. It’s not too late to repent and turn away, turn back, reconcile yourself and live for Him. Humble yourself, see Him as He truly is, and seek Him with all your heart; then pray for our nation becoming once again, “One Nation Under God”!”
POETIC PONTIFICATION
“Oh, child of the King where do you stand today
Have you thrown what you know as truth away
Did you choose the world over what is truly right
Have you chosen to live only using your own sight
What happens to the faith and promises you made
Has your stand and light you’ve shown started to fade
Are you dismissing what He wants for your selfish pride
Do you think He doesn’t see and you can actually hide
Seek first His face and pour yourself out to Him this day
Humble yourself before Him, be intimate and really pray
It’s not too late to do and be in the center of His will
Get before Almighty God, Sovereign Ruler and be still!”
“Painters wrestle with what they see, how they translate it and what the final execution is. For God’s people His Word is true and His ways are blameless. Seek Him, first!”
