BLOG BURST:
"Today we are living in a world that is wide open to art and wide open to calling oneself an artist. The judgment of that is up to those who judge. Many of the Collector judge. Some have judges judge for the up and coming as well as the "what it went for at auction" artists. The contests have their judges; bringing their values and critiques. People go to museums, exhibits, or the internet to take in what they see. But unless you are one who just believes it's there to match a pillow, then what you are viewing should have some connection with your emotions. Today we need positives to feed and encorage every part of our lives. We need something to daily combat and attack the onslaught of negativity that is pouring out all over us from the business climate, the mood of those around us, and the invasion on our own thought process. Paintings do that! If they do not, I say "interesting". When they do, I say "Wow"! I say "Thank You!" What do you say??"

POETIC PONTIFICATION:
"Paintings connect with us in a way unlike any other,
Sort of like a kiss goodnight from your very mother.
They let you travel; no charge is ever asked or paid.
Beauty and messages to our hearts they so invade.
In one blink or stare or momentary eye filled glance,
Paintings fill your soul so all of life's enhanced!"

BLOG BURST:
"With the onslaught of every minute news and "let's see how we can scare them today", our world is giving evidence that changes, security, family, and life is in the midst of an unprecedented upheaval. Bombarded with commercials, we are told that what was right is now wrong and what we know we don't know. Life is getting more throwaway. Solomon's quote of "chasing after the wind" seems to need "while you get blown away". There are still connections beyond "feelings". Think about truth, what is real, the choices made and the paths taken. Beautiful, meaningful paintings can make us recall and remember, all with a dash of what's possible. The greatest art of all is just outside your window, as you walk or in the ever changing, constant song that plays out in the sky just over your head. There is hope. Paintings can remind us of that as well as who really rules over all."

POETIC PONTIFICATION:
"Life often seems to let us down and take our being.
Rushing here and there, what are we really seeing?
What's really important plays out in so many ways.
All about me, myself, and I; be careful how it pays.
Find beautiful paintings, which help you live and cope;
Lose yourself in their beauty; come alive with hope!"

"The positives improve living. Smiling and laughing have an effect on your daily health. Choose your attitude. Focus your mindset on the good, live life with a thankful heart. No matter what is going on search for the answers and go to the Source. Look at great paintings in forms of gilee’ which will help your pocketbooks without taking away from your valuable short term and long term investments."

POETIC PONTIFICATION:

"So many ways to make us feel, take more of this or that.

Don’t ask the real side effects or how it did with rats.

Just add something to your day which brings focus down.

It doesn’t really do any harm walking with a frown.

But a painting – Oh a painting confronting my very soul,

Brings me up, takes me beyond, makes me alive not old!"

"BLOG BURST":
"I've been reminded this week of how much we don’t know and how much we have to learn. Every real artist is struggling with all kinds of challenges and things rolling around in their minds. Most of the time with either abstract or realism it doesn’t matter; the artist isn’t just slapping paint. When you look at paintings, you should look deep, concentrate, feel it, ponder the message and let them speak to you!!"

"May you find what you are looking for, or may the paint-tings find you!"

"POETIC PONTIFICATION":
After Storm Sunday going to church here on Cape Cod.
Thought I’d post this up showing you the ocean, not the sod.
Reminded of the subtle beauty and awesome power shown.
Thankful for all things reminded not to groan.
Letting the winds and waves remind us of all He has made.
No matter what I see or how I paint, His colors never fade.
