BLOG BURST:
"Magnificent moments of color dance in patterns of light. The glance is in less than a twinkling of the eye as the ocean constantly bursts into another form never to be exactly captured as it was. The surrounding sounds, the wind sweeping across one’s face are all elements of a backdrop of complexity that you gaze through. The stillness or the rage, the changing of moods and direction, the apprehension of the unknown is exposed the more you involve yourself. The untamed rage and unclaimed beauty of the ocean is ever changing. It always allows the heart and mind to wander freely in one’s head without a grasp of negative thoughts until they are directed to do so.

Captured ocean paintings give us that glimpse. They allow recall of events, circumstances and human interaction of all kinds. This interface crosses all boundaries. Like the ocean, ocean paintings may represent and communicate the permanence of “what was, what is, and what might be”. They can, similar to the ocean, carve, contour, shatter, and shake the answers of the questions about one’s life.

As the world’s wisest man once said, “Fear God and keep His commandments for this is the whole duty of man. For God will bring every deed into judgment including the hidden thing, whether it is good or evil.” Ecclesiastes 12:13-14

We’ll speak more on these things in the future…"

POETIC PONTIFICATION:
“The rapid pace of life and days all go too fast
Never an instant replay, memory is what lasts
Thoughts and dreams soon run out of time
As the power of human actions overrun the mind
But who knows what is counted as it fades
All coming from choices chosen or choices made!”

“Find beautiful paintings that bring wellsprings of life and feed yourself on the positives we need. May you have a wonderful week! Talk again soon.”

" The awareness that we live in a time of pedaling bicycles in the midst of expressway traffic has been driven home of late. We’re getting further away from our foundational routes and we’re serving up children who haven’t been trained, don’t have a clue and are being prepared to join a mindless ever numbing society. It’s “all good” though, right?

BMW retools its manufacturing and implements all kinds of unique human help systems to allow older adults to work the line. What happens in this unique experiment is that productivity, attendance, quality, workmanship and myriad of other benefits to the company go through the roof.

Of course machines will take over. You don’t think humans will do the work do you? We are suffering over lawyered legislation, over taxation, unprecedented greed, moral decay which have all led to the overwhelming necessity of jobs for both partners. Church exodus, tolerance of decayed values and living one way and telling our children we don’t approve yet condoning everything they do. We don’t have time or worse don’t even have the mindset to care. We’re losing or we have totally lost our way.

“Train up a child in the way they should go and they will not depart from it” … The real question is how have we trained them and continue to train them.

Artists and especially art teachers have taken the easy road, accepted that self focused position that it’s about their work and scrapped the foundational training of great creativity and thinking for torn, paint laden shirts and the smell of turpentine.

Wake up before the only great paintings we have are done by dead painters."

POETIC PONTIFICATION:
“So easy to pick up and go another way
Forgetting the rules of the game and how to play
Doesn’t matter; doesn’t suit the way you feel
Carry on till something else catches your appeal
Didn’t matter who you damaged or what you do
Only thing that matters is it’s about you!”

“If you find a painting that captures your heart, give your heart to it. Priceless is the value of the relationship when true love is its foundation. Don’t throw it away. Have a great week!”

"Do the birds sing out of tune and are you staying with your loneliness? As September breaks forth the fall and fall leads to winter, we are about to embark on one of the most beautiful times of the year, especially if you happened to be in New England. “Hello Color and Beauty!”

Over the next three to five weeks we will be in for one of the most spectacular shows in the world and it’s all free. Yes, it could cost some gas and lodging and meals, but aside from that the richness of this year’s color should be magnificent. The trees will go through some confusing metamorphosis and the leaves will die as the green of yesterday brings forth the colors of tomorrow and then the brown and grays of death and decay set in.

“7Dear friends, let us love one another, for love comes from God. Everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God. 8Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love. 9This is how God showed his love among us: He sent his one and only Son into the world that we might live through him. 10This is love: not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins.” 1 John 4:7-10

Go see the show and in it see how wonderful, amazing, spectacular, beautiful, awesome and wonderful God is in His love for us to bring forth this marvelous time of the year. Capture it in picture, see it in paintings and enjoy it and all its reminders each and every day!

We’ll talk more soon……"

POETIC PONTIFICATION:
“We wonder why we can’t see and it’s so dark
Too often we’ve taken vows as lightly as a lark
Breathe deep the measure of God’s grace
Look closely at His creations in this place
Open your heart to Him in all you do
For He is waiting to show His love for you!”

“Paintings that bring forth the spectacular colors of the season color you with positives. See them and experience them for yourself. Have a wonderful week and take good care!”

BLOG BURST:
"It’s been an interesting few days here on Cape Cod with the big threat of Hurricane Earl and the record heat just prior to its arrival. With the “can’t move cause I’m stuck” conditions and the “this is the largest hurricane in history”, you get a glimpse into the human condition of today, like no other time.

Just about everybody on Cape Cod has this easy, breezy mentality when it comes to heat. Years ago it was hot and then late in the afternoon it would cool due to the sea breezes. I don’t know if that’s changed but it sure seems to have. It’s just been so hot that the difference between 90 degrees during the day and 75 – 80 degrees at night with about 80% humidity really stretches the point.

The media driven society with the “let’s scare them so they watch us” mentality and the weather “persons” who wear the prophet’s robes but don’t want to be stoned if they’re wrong, all love these elements. They’re on center stage and they have everybody dancing to their tune.

Here’s the point. The human condition is made up of internal and external conditions. We want everything to be a fairy tale and we want to control the fairy tale to our own pleasure. This really has nothing to do with reality. Life wasn’t designed by the Creator to be like this. With the fall of man these curses and conditions came into being. The prince of the power of the air took the position continued his lies and the world’s buying everything hook, line and sinker since Eden.

With the storms and heat of life we have a great opportunity to keep our ship tied forever to the dock that cannot be moved. We have the opportunity to feel the cool breeze in the midst of scorching heat.

Paintings like “After The Storm” can remind us that it will pass, things will calm down and tomorrow is here and we will have the hope of a beautiful sunrise soon. Find the truth and the truth will set you free!

We’ll talk more of these things soon…."

POETIC PONTIFICATION:
“When we don’t know Him, we think we’re always right
Never fully seeing truth and never following the Light
They’re nice, they’re good, but we don’t even know
Our judgment is blurred as we’re dancing to the show
We’ve thrown away His sacrifice for the ways of Cane
Blinded by our actions and choices for our personal gain!”

“Take the time to discover Paintings that remind you of the truth! If you’re not sure you know or understand that, then, “ask, seek, and knock”. Have a great week of “finding out” and not just “settling in”!”

BLOG BURST:
"Oh those hazy, crazy days of summer”, and yes once again fading into the sunset. It seems to just be like dropping off the end of the planet. School again, school again, Labor Day, Labor Day, so it starts.

Often we’ve given no rhyme or reason why life’s cycles as it does and it certainly cycles differently all over the world. It’s rhythm is pure its rhythm is steady and the only thing that interrupts it are acts of God, the cause and effect of the weather and the disasters in, around, and on the planet.

The cycle is what humans want as they live under the curse of Adam and Eve and the conflict that abounds with the fall. We’re all looking for answers and trying to forge ahead as if we had some control over the events of our lives. Oh yes, there are the choices we make and the choices we suffer made by others for us. There is the belief that we must get on with our lives because we’ve all got it so bad. There is the hope that the lottery or some great act may leave us wealth and satisfy all our longings. On and on as humans in and out of reality move forward to a reality they really don’t want to consider.

All that hording, all those vows broken, all those self righteous thoughts, crocodile tears, all that strain and stress, lies and false foothold of untruths are leading you where and for what?

Have a cup of tea! Back the truck up! Take some badly needed time. Open up yourself to a good painting and the beauty created. Go outside and wander or visit places that God created for your pleasure and enjoyment. Call a friend, a brother, a sister, someone you care for and talk. Bottom-line, stop and smell the flowers. Stop complaining. Take a deep breath. Call out to your Creator and get yourself ready because you’re going to meet Him sooner than you think.

Live! It may be the end of the summer, but it’s not too late to renew, rediscover or enjoy!"

POETIC PONTIFICATION:
“One day you wake up and find your many years are gone
Taken by who or what in which you thought was strong
You run for this, you run for that, thinking what will be
Only to find people you care for gone and never to see
What will you say when it’s over as it gets harder each day
Not truly sure, then cry out to Him to show you the way!”

“Paintings allow us to breathe the expressions of artistic vision. Sending time with them can feed our beings. Have a wonderful week as we move to forward together!”

BLOG BURST:
"A few weeks ago a discovery was made by a new revolutionary technology that “Da Vinci” applied layer upon layer of surfaces about the width of a human hair to create his depth and shadow to give us the fabulous “Mona Lisa” and her wonderful enchanting appeal.

For centuries artists have been applying surface upon surface of paint. These mixtures were to gain depth, change perceptions, and move the viewer beyond what they think they see. So often we see people take quick glances and unfocused looks which draw little or no appreciation as their minds are totally focused in another direction. So often there is nothing left but questions in their heads about what they saw, what they looked at, and even why they spent the time.

We see this more and more in our society, our culture. People pay vast sums of money to watch some sporting event and are more interested in being seen on the television. They spend their time on the phone talking and they don’t have a clue what’s going on.

A lot of this is the busyness of life and often it’s to enhance a no accountability posture. Too many people think they can own their life, control their life, and not answer for any part of their life. As long as they can get on with their life, they can say to “heck with anything else”. After all it’s all about them. They get to the point they don’t even see what they have taught their children by their actions. They can’t understand why consequences have come knocking at their door. They have it all, have it all in control, and don’t even see the train coming out of the tunnel, let alone hear the whistle.

I want what I want and that’s all that matters. Well, is it? Did we just plunk down and land on planet earth or develop randomly out of some inch worm. Did we evolve from some ignominious matter to the most unbelievable beautiful, complex, and complicated, created life form on earth?

It parallels once again the viewing of paintings in all their beauty and all their meaning. One must have a clear and uncluttered mindset, be focused on the subject in view and have the ability to process the messages and communications that are direct to the heart through the mind’s eye to grasp their true beauty and meaning.

Wake up to what you have done, what you are encumbered by and what is holding you back. Wake up to the relationships you have passed over to satisfy your earthy pleasure. Wake up to what you have forgotten and the paths appointed and from which you have deviated.

“Seek and ye shall find knock and the door will be opened unto you”..."

POETIC PONTIFICATION:
“You didn’t ask the right questions when you had the time
Your mind has traveled so far from when you were in line
You turned aside, went to the world, its view and its way
You’re not even practicing what you so always had to say
You’ve shown those you love that it doesn’t matter at all
Actions have been so evident you don’t even hear the call.”

“Take paintings in with an unencumbered approach and you will see things more clearly. Ask, Seek and Knock. Have a wonderful week!”

BLOG BURST:
"Often times we’re so busy “we can’t see the forest for the trees”. Every once in a while we get a clear picture of what’s really there and what’s going on, or at least we think we do.

Sometimes, obviously less today than it used to be, people would look at things differently and discuss it, and work it out. They would respect each other enough to try to understand the other person’s position and make those necessary changes or allow the other person their position.

I went to the beach very early this morning to enjoy the ocean, sand, air, and spend some time thinking and praying. I man and two kids were there. He was packing up his truck as they were collecting the last clam shells, hermit crabs and bags of sand souvenirs before they attempted to beat the horrific Cape Cod Saturday traffic. He started to unfold his story of being there with his daughter and her friend and his mother. When I asked about his wife, his answer was he wants no part of that.

Unlike the past, men’s and women’s commitments are traded in or trashed for new ones, new feelings or “greener grass”. The hurtful feelings and the heartaches are just below the surface and they don’t go away. Any thoughts that the kids will not be just fine don’t enter the head. The kids will be O.K is always the answer. Unfortunately, you see the kids turn from what they were taught, stop believing in life as a struggle; accept life as a throw away, me only, a new feelings way, and clearly always travel the less painful path.

Happy as he was with the day and the time he had experienced on Cape Cod with his vacation, this man was struggling with the economy, our politicians, the rampant greed, relationships and security.

Sometimes these things are similar to the paintings which I have chosen. To find something beautiful you may have to spend time and look carefully. You may have to be a little quiet and not just talk all the time, but listen. They may not be just about you. You may also want to be still and look carefully as there is truly something beautiful before you. All it takes is a true commitment.

We’ll talk more of these things soon and thank you…."

POETIC PONTIFICATION:
“Dreams and life often don’t cross paths except in the mind
Most of us don’t care about another and we’re not very kind
As long as I go on with my life and me, I’ll be fine thank you
Doesn’t matter who you are with or what you are about to do
No thought of who rules the universe to whom you’ll give reply
Only, live and let live life to the fullest because we all will die!”

“Find paintings that remind you of what you promised. It won’t change and as you do, it will call you back to what you committed to. Have a great week!”
