BLOG BURST:
"I became real conscious of our consuming, social, internet, active, no time society this week. On one occasion after waiting on a scheduled appointment and just starting our meet the person abruptly announced that they had to leave almost immediately because they were supposed to be somewhere else. Next came the interruptions of emails with no purpose but to be forwarded. This was followed by Emails with nothing to offer but getting me on their list. Then I had to read this email which did nothing more than tell me or anyone else reading it that there was nothing more important in life than them. These were followed by a series of unscheduled instructional emails telling me I had to do something and when I got there; there was so much traffic on their server I could not even complete the request it was so slow. The final session appeared when dinner was interrupted by a friend who just popped in at dinner time to sit down and talk about what she needed and what was happening in her life.

Today we have a propensity for everything being about us, even this Blog Burst has that flavor. But, my point is in the midst of all this one may want to consider a couple of profound sayings, “in order to have friends one must be friendly” and “love your neighbor as yourself”. While they sound good, I wonder how much time we ponder what they really mean.

Stress, self-absorbed living and no thought or even time to think and consider leads us further and further away from health, happiness, serving and giving to others, and living. That’s why I’m always reminding you of spending time with a great painting that moves your heart and soul. It will refresh you and remind you of what’s really important.

We’ll talk more of these things soon."

POETIC PONTIFICATION:
“All the hustle, all the bustle and it’s not a holiday
Don’t consider the Reaper and what one may have to pay
Don’t think about what I’m doing or where or even when
I’m so overwhelmed I can’t see the tunnel let alone its end
Help me stop and consider all the things here and around
Let me see, feel, hear and understand the things profound!”

“Stop; spend time with a great painting that reminds your heart of hopes and dreams. Have a great week!”

"Find my paintings, or may my paint-tings find you!"

  3. You are right in saying a good start doesn't mean success or a bad start mean failure - but one should reach out and always think and consider their course.

Once again thank you for your comment!!
