BLOG BURST:
"Often we’re so caught up by our lives and our schedules, we can’t even take a breath. We have our glasses on and we’re pushing ahead full speed and we think we’re taking it all in. Yesterday I got an email from a friend asking me to pass on an extremely dangerous situation in a foreign country where 20 churches were burnt and 200 more were scheduled for the following night along with the goal of executing 200 people serving them. There is stuff going on in our own life and the world around us. There’s a lot we just don’t see or don’t want to see.
Sometimes, I say often, it’s good to stop and look deep into a painting. Let your mind travel to your foundational beliefs. You may not feel that you can help the world around you, or you may if you have a right relationship and can pray. Ask yourself, why are you so fortunate or maybe why aren’t you? Is it the choices you’ve made, things you’ve done, or the promises you’ve not kept? If you have the right relationship you can find those answers as well.
Spend some time with a great painting. Ponder what its saying! Then think about the true Creator of the Universe. Call out to Him. You may be surprised at the availability of insights and answers."
POETIC PONTIFICATION:
“The world is traveling to its destination at a rapid pace.
Too often the world has given us it own bitter taste
Driven by powers who blind men’s eyes and ears
Leaving us with hopelessness and ever present fears
But take heart in perfect love there is no fear at all
So find out who is love, reach out and answer His call.”
“Ponder what you look at and what you don’t. Ask yourself what you are looking for and remember feelings or the lack of them won’t lead you to truth. Have a great week!”
"Find my paintings, or may my paint-tings find you!"
