BLOG BURST:
"Welcome to 2010! I truly hope this year unfolded its best for you. Did you get caught up in those New Year Resolutions? How many do you still have, after all this is the third day of the New Year?

I have a friend who has a pretty good filter to run things through before he goes off and it pretty much goes with the title. He asks himself three questions before he opens his mouth. First, is it true? Second, is it necessary? Third, is it kind? All of these together would help us in our daily life, our relationships and our communications.

I’d like to offer other suggestions not only as it applies to art paintings and as it applies to people you meet and what you communicate. If we would look more, see more and take our time going beyond that tertiary glance. It may change our opinion, create a different outlook and let us find and discovery something of true value and meaning to our very being. If we would apply this same principle to our listening we may find that we have more than ears to listen with and our lives may have the opportunity to be fuller and richer. If we would put others before ourselves in our outlook, conversations and approach to meeting people, we may find that people are friendlier toward us, enjoy our company more and respect us rather than seek to distance themselves from any involvement.

Great art paintings have the ability to engage us at all these levels and much more. You don’t have to feed them, take them to the doctor for health reasons, or provide entertainment for them. They will grant you a lifetime of enjoyment; reward you with continual, positive reinforcements; and continually capture your heart’s emotion, getting better with time."

POETIC PONTIFICATION:
“There are all kinds of treatments for those who are ill.
But for those who keep talking there is no quiet pill.
Stop and think who really cares about this or that
Take a glance at their faces you’re driving them bats.
Look and see, listen with your heart and hear it speak.
Great paintings grab your heart and make you weak!”

“Have a great week. Find an engaging painting and build a rewarding, priceless collection one captured emotion at a time!”

"Find my paintings, or may my paint-tings find you!"
